Ear Piercings
The ear is one of the most versatile areas for piercings, with numerous options to express your unique style. Some popular choices include:
- Lobe Piercing: The classic and most common piercing, located on the lower part of the ear. Perfect for adding one or multiple earrings.
- Helix Piercing: Placed along the top rim of the ear. A great option for those looking to add a little edge.
- Tragus Piercing: Located on the small cartilage flap just in front of the ear canal, this piercing is stylish and discrete.
- Conch Piercing: A bold look placed in the inner cartilage of the ear, creating a statement piece with hoop jewelry.
- Industrial Piercing: A unique and striking option that connects two holes on the upper ear with a barbell.
Nose Piercings
A nose piercing adds a subtle yet bold element to your face. Choose from several options to suit your preferences:
- Nostril Piercing: The most common nose piercing, typically placed on the side of the nostril. Perfect for studs or small hoops.
- Septum Piercing: Located in the cartilage between your nostrils, this piercing has grown immensely popular for its bold, edgy look.
- Bridge Piercing: Placed horizontally across the bridge of the nose, this piercing creates a unique and striking appearance.
Oral Piercings
Oral piercings can be fun and fashionable, with several different styles to consider:
- Tongue Piercing: One of the most popular oral piercings, placed in the center of the tongue. A great option for those wanting something subtle or edgy.
- Lip Piercings: This includes a variety of options, such as the labret (center of the bottom lip), snake bites (two piercings on either side of the lower lip), and monroe (a single piercing above the upper lip).
- Medusa Piercing: Located just above the upper lip, in the philtrum (the groove that runs down the middle of your upper lip). It's a bold statement piece.
Body Piercings
Body piercings are a creative way to express your personality and add some flair to areas beyond the ears or face:
- Belly Button Piercing (Naval Piercing): A trendy piercing along the upper rim of the belly button. Popular for adding fun jewelry like hoops and studs.
- Eyebrow Piercing: Typically placed just above the eyebrow, creating an edgy and bold look. Works well with a variety of jewelry styles.
- Surface Piercings: These are unique piercings that are placed on the surface of the skin, usually along the collarbones, chest, or forearm. They require careful aftercare due to their placement.
Genital Piercings
Genital piercings are a personal choice and often chosen for aesthetic or sensory reasons. These piercings are done with care and attention to ensure safety and comfort:
- Prince Albert Piercing: One of the most common male genital piercings, placed through the underside of the head of the penis.
- Clitoral Hood Piercing: A popular piercing for women, located at the top of the clitoris under the hood.
- Labia Piercing: Placed through the labia on either side, this piercing adds a unique touch.
Note: All genital piercings are performed with the utmost attention to hygiene and safety. We will guide you through every step of the process.

Piercing Aftercare & Cleaning Process
Proper aftercare is crucial to ensuring your piercing heals correctly and looks great long-term. Here are the essential steps for cleaning and caring for your piercing:
1. Clean Regularly:
For the first 6-8 weeks (or longer if instructed), clean your piercing twice a day using a saline solution or piercing-specific cleanser like Steri-Wash. Avoid harsh antiseptics like alcohol, as they can dry out and irritate the area.
2. Use a Clean, Soft Cloth or Gauze:
Describe some quality or feature of the company. Write a short paragraph about it and choose an appropriate icon.
3. Avoid Touching or Twisting the Piercing:
Do not twist or move the jewelry during healing. This can cause irritation, slow healing, and increase the risk of infection. If the jewelry moves on its own, that's normal, but do not force it.
4. Keep the Piercing Dry:
After cleaning, gently pat the area dry with a clean towel. Avoid soaking the piercing in pools, hot tubs, or lakes during the healing period.
5. Avoid Makeup, Lotions, and Hair Products:
For facial piercings (nose, lip, eyebrow), avoid applying makeup, lotions, or hair products near the piercing to prevent infection or irritation.
6. Monitor for Infections:
A little swelling, redness, and discharge (like clear fluid or mild crusting) is normal. However, if you notice excessive pain, redness, heat, or green/yellow discharge, please contact us immediately. These may be signs of an infection.
Choosing the Right Jewelry
Your piercing jewelry is not just an aesthetic choice—it’s essential for proper healing and comfort. When choosing jewelry for your piercing, we consider both the material and size to ensure your piercing heals properly and looks great. Here's what you need to know:
1. Jewelry Materials:
- Titanium: The safest, most durable material for piercings. Hypoallergenic, lightweight, and resistant to corrosion, making it a top choice for most clients.
- Surgical Steel: A popular choice for its affordability and strength. Surgical steel is generally safe for most people, but those with metal allergies may need to avoid it.
- Niobium: Another hypoallergenic option, similar to titanium, often used for those with sensitive skin.
- Gold (14k or 18k): Gold is a stylish option for healed piercings but should only be used after the piercing has fully healed (usually after 6-12 months). Be sure to avoid gold-plated jewelry during the healing process as it can cause irritation.
- BioFlex or PTFE (Plastic): Flexible materials that are often used for initial piercings, particularly in areas that need a bit more room for healing, like the nose or genital piercings.
2. Jewelry Style & Size:
- Studs vs. Hoops: For initial piercings, studs are generally preferred as they sit flat and don’t cause unnecessary friction during the healing process. Hoops are a great choice once your piercing is fully healed.
- Gauge (Thickness): The gauge of the jewelry (the thickness of the post) is critical to the success of your piercing. We use appropriate gauges for the piercing to avoid rejection or migration. A typical gauge is 18g-14g for most piercings, but larger or smaller gauges may be used depending on the piercing.
- Length (Bar Size): For lip or eyebrow piercings, the length of the bar or post is crucial for comfort and healing. Too short, and the jewelry will be too tight; too long, and it can cause irritation. We’ll ensure the right fit for your piercing’s healing stage.
3. Selecting the Right Jewelry for Your Piercing Type:
- Ear Piercings: For initial ear piercings, we recommend a small, flat stud or labret stud to minimize irritation. Once healed, you can choose from hoops, cuffs, or threaded designs. For cartilage piercings like the helix or tragus, a barbell or hoop works best.
- Nose Piercings: A nostril stud is typically used initially, followed by a small hoop once healing is complete. The septum piercing often starts with a captive bead ring (CBR) or a segment ring.
- Oral Piercings: For tongue piercings, we use a straight barbell. For lip and labret piercings, labret studs or flat-back studs are ideal, as they don't irritate the gums or teeth.
- Body Piercings: Belly button piercings typically use banana barbells, while eyebrow piercings often start with curved barbells. For surface piercings, we use a surface bar designed specifically to minimize rejection.
- Genital Piercings: For genital piercings, we ensure the jewelry is made from biocompatible materials like titanium or bioplast. The style of jewelry depends on the piercing but often includes curved barbells or captive bead rings (CBR).
4. Jewelry Adjustments & Custom Designs:
Once your piercing is healed, feel free to switch out your jewelry. We offer a wide variety of options to match your style, from gems to custom designs. Our team can also assist you with jewelry fitting if you’re looking for something more unique.
